The PE sheet equipment (that is, the polyethylene sheet production line) is mainly composed of several major functional modules: the main machine extrusion, mold shaping, cooling and traction, and cutting and material separation.

Core components include:

‌Feed and drying system‌: The automatic feeder conveys raw materials into the hopper. If necessary, a dryer is used to remove moisture to ensure stable extrusion.

‌Extrusion main unit‌: The core component is a single-screw extruder (common screw diameters such as 150, 120 mm), which melts and polishes the PE raw materials; the screw and barrel are generally made of wear-resistant materials such as nitrided steel, and the gearbox is equipped with forced lubrication and water cooling.

‌Extrusion mold‌: Usually, an iron frame type sheet mold is used to ensure uniform distribution of the melt, and the width and thickness of the sheet can be adjusted by changing the mold.

‌Three-roll calendering machine‌: The extruded molten sheet is calendered, leveled, cooled and shaped. The surface accuracy of the roller surface directly determines the surface quality of the sheet, and a mold temperature machine is generally equipped for precise temperature control.

‌Cooling support and edge trimming device‌: After calendering, the sheet continues to cool and the uneven edges on both sides are trimmed to ensure uniform width.

‌Traction device‌: The sheet is driven forward at a constant speed by the roller traction machine, and the speed is matched with the extrusion volume to avoid sheet stretching deformation.

‌Cutting and stacking‌: Includes a shearing machine (or transverse cutting device) and a blanking frame, which cuts the sheet at the set length and stacks them neatly.

‌Electrical control system‌: All speed regulation, temperature control and interlocking control of the entire line rely on it. It generally supports DC or variable frequency speed regulation, and some models have intelligent control functions.
