Output of the PVC Cellular Foam Profile Extrusion Line

The output of the PVC Cellular Foam Profile Extrusion Line is dependent on the screw specification, the type of sheet (coated/free foaming), and the thickness of the product. The normal range is 200–1200 kg/h, while for large and high-end lines, it can reach 1200–2000 kg/h.

Core production range (by equipment model and process)

‌Small/entry-level line (SJZ 51/105 or similar)‌: 80–150 kg/h, suitable for narrow profiles or thin sheets.

‌Medium standard line (SJZ 65/132 ~ 80/156)‌: 150–450 kg/h, commonly used configuration for mainstream advertising boards and cabinet boards.

‌Large high-efficiency line (SJZ 92/188 or flat twin 135+)‌: 550–1200 kg/h, some of the latest flat twin technologies claim to exceed 1200 kg/h.

‌Ultra-large scale line (multi-roll co-extrusion/special formula)‌: Theoretical peak can reach 2000 kg/h (commonly seen in WPC/SPC mixed line promotions, PVC foam without a pure formula is less common).

‌Key variables affecting production volume

‌Screw diameter and length-to-diameter ratio‌: 80mm screw typically corresponds to 300–400 kg/h; 92mm and above can exceed 500 kg/h.

‌Foaming type‌: Skin foam (Celuka method) has a slightly lower speed due to the dense skin layer, but requires high stability; free foam lines have a slightly higher production volume under the same equipment.

‌Product specifications‌: The thinner the thickness and the narrower the width, the lower the weight per unit time of extrusion; 1220mm×10mm sheet is a common benchmark test condition.

‌Formula and temperature control‌: PVC has strong heat sensitivity, the decomposition rate of the foaming agent and the cooling efficiency directly limit the maximum stable extrusion speed.
